I joined FightR because I wanted to learn to box to get fitter. I had no idea that two years on, I would be preparing for my first white collar fight, and actually be excited to get in the ring in front of my family and friends.

In the first few weeks, I dropped a dress size rapidly and I have managed to keep it off, as well as building upper body strength. Boxing has become the easiest sport to stay consistent with and I’m glad I took it up.

I stayed with FightR because of the variety of classes, the excellent standard of coaching and the community. The coaches all have an expert eye for detail in technique and their support makes it easy to get better at boxing quickly. It doesn’t matter what level you start at - the only thing you need to improve is your ability to show up. The atmosphere is very encouraging from everyone at FightR and the environment is relaxed and very welcoming.
